MaxPrintAlign legal

Privacy Policy

This policy explains what MaxPrintAlign processes when a merchant installs and uses the app.

Effective: September 6, 2026

Summary: MaxPrintAlign is designed to work with store and product information, along with printer-profile, calibration, usage, and print-job information needed to create labels. The current app does not request Shopify customer or order scopes.

1. Operator

MaxPrintAlign is operated by MaxGioDigital (“MaxPrintAlign,” “we,” “us,” or “our”). This policy applies to the MaxPrintAlign app and public website.

2. Information we process

Shop and installation information

We may process the shop domain, installation and authorization status, access credentials issued for the app, and technical identifiers required to maintain the connection.

Product, inventory, and location information

MaxPrintAlign requests read access to products, inventory, and locations. This can include product/variant identifiers, titles, prices, SKUs, barcodes, inventory quantities, vendors, and location-related information needed for the label workflow.

Printer profiles and print jobs

We store settings such as printer/model selection, DPI, label dimensions, calibration offsets, scale, selected variants, quantities, job status, and information needed to display or reproduce saved print jobs.

Temporary PDFs

Generated PDFs may be stored temporarily for download. Temporary files can expire while saved job metadata remains so an already-counted job can be regenerated safely.

Technical and support information

We may process timestamps, webhook identifiers, application logs, error/reference identifiers, request metadata, and support-request content for security, troubleshooting, reliability, and support.

3. Information not required for current core functionality

The current app does not request Shopify customer or order scopes and is not designed to collect buyer names, shipping addresses, payment-card information, or customer identity documents.

4. How we use information

  • Authenticate and connect a Shopify store.
  • Display eligible products and variants.
  • Save printer profiles and calibration settings.
  • Generate and deliver label PDFs.
  • Operate usage and plan rules.
  • Secure, monitor, diagnose, and support the service.
  • Comply with legal and Shopify platform obligations.

5. Sharing

We do not sell merchant or buyer personal information. Limited information may be processed by infrastructure or service providers that help host, secure, monitor, or support MaxPrintAlign, and by Shopify as necessary to operate the app. We may disclose information when required by law or necessary to protect rights, safety, or security.

6. Retention

We retain information only as long as reasonably necessary for service operation, security, support, dispute resolution, contractual obligations, and legal compliance. Temporary PDFs are intended to have a shorter lifetime than saved job metadata.

7. Uninstall and privacy requests

Uninstalling ends the app’s authorization to access the store. Applicable Shopify privacy/redaction requests are processed as required. Limited records may be retained where legally permitted or required for security, billing, disputes, fraud prevention, or compliance.

8. Security

We use reasonable administrative and technical safeguards appropriate to the service. No online system can guarantee absolute security. Never send Shopify passwords, API secrets, or access tokens through support.

9. International processing

Information may be processed in countries other than the merchant’s own depending on infrastructure and service providers. Where required, reasonable safeguards are used for cross-border processing.

10. Privacy rights

Depending on applicable law, individuals may have rights relating to access, correction, deletion, restriction, objection, or portability. See Data & Privacy Requests. If a request concerns data controlled by a Shopify merchant, the requester should generally contact that merchant first.

11. Children

MaxPrintAlign is a business application and is not directed to children.

12. Changes

We may update this policy as the app, law, or platform requirements change. The effective date above identifies the current version.

13. Contact

Use the Support Center for questions about this policy or the Data & Privacy Requests page for privacy-specific requests.

Legal note: This policy is intended to describe the current service transparently and is not individualized legal advice.
